About the Event
HooDurr Invitational — Series II: Battle in the Pines
Fox & Pine Edition
Twenty-four players. Two teams. Three rounds. One score left unsettled.
Oct 15–18, 2026 · Piedmont of North Carolina
Where It Started
A rivalry born in England
The idea was born in England, while Tim Durr and Jacob Hooter were competing in the 2025 Britain's Cup. Back home, they put it into action, and in November 2025 they hosted 14 players in the Piedmont of North Carolina for the first HooDurr Invitational.
Three rounds of competition later, nobody could claim the win. The inaugural event ended in a draw, and the question of who comes out on top has been waiting for an answer ever since.
Series II
Battle in the Pines
This year the Invitational returns to the Piedmont of North Carolina to settle what the first edition left undecided. The field grows from 14 players to 24, and every one of them is playing for a side.
Series II also brings a theme with the Foxes and Pines: two teams, two captains, and three rounds of intense competition to decide which side owns the course.
The Teams
Twelve players per side
Team Foxes
Captained by Tim Durr
Team Pines
Captained by Jacob Hooter
When the final ball hits the bottom of the cup after Round 3, one team leaves with the bragging rights the first Invitational never handed out.
